Updated the homepage gallery with a JQuery plugin that calls photos from a Picasa account. In other words, I can upload photos to Picasa and they automatically show up on the homepage. I’ve also set it up so I can post photos directly to the blog from the Wordpress mobile app. Photos taken in stores at the time of the drop can be geotagged, uploaded to Wordpress and Picasa, and visible on the blog and homepage now within minutes – and without most of the hassle of updating the site the old way using the XML-based Flash gallery I set up. Easy as pie. (Maybe Steve Jobs has a point?)
